British-owned luxury outlet mall at Plaza Mayor hopes to open 22 October
Built as an extension of the Plaza Mayor shopping centre near to Malaga Airport the British-owned luxury outlet mall hopes to be open by the 22nd of October.
Developed by UK-based McArthurGlen the shops will all feature heavily discounted luxury goods.
The 100 shop facility will be the company’s first outlet mall in Spain and the biggest of its kind anywhere in southern Spain.
Shoppers will be able to buy items made by Tommy Hilfiger, Karl Lagerfeld, Lacoste, Sandro and Calvin Klein.
Owners of the Plaza Mayor Sonae Sierra are very happy with the quality of the extension which was built to reflect Andalusian architecture.
While they have given an opening date for later this month that may have to change as it is dependent on two lanes being added to the MA-20 motorway.
